Some lessons whispered by a white tulip …
I am simply meant to BE.
I don’t even know my name is Tulip.
I don’t know that I’m a flower.
I don’t want to be something or someone or other than I am.
If I get what I need: light, water, warmth, I’ll grow, I’ll grow fast (you can see that with the naked eye), then I’ll go into the ground, where I came from.
If I don’t get what I need, I won’t grow and I’ll go into the ground faster.
A new cycle begins next spring, when from the same bulb, a new tulip grows.
That bulb is the core that gives me life. That bulb exists even if you can’t see it.
I do not ask myself what my role is on this earth, I simply AM.
I don’t compare myself to other tulips, yellow, orange, pink, wishing I was more colourful, but I smile at the sun and life as much as I am given to live.
